Review and approve journal entries ensuring compliance in accordance with GAAP and DCAA regulationsĭetermine proper accounting for unusual or one-off transactionsĬreate journal entries, as necessary, for proper revenue recognition and cost adjustments/allocations Maintain the integrity of the financial systems and the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as assets, liabilities, equity, income and expense Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. This position interacts with all levels in the accounting department as well as numerous other departments in the company and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
The Accounting Lead position is responsible for a combination of GAAP accounting, government accounting, and the ability to manage complex projects within a fast-paced General Accounting environment. The Accounting Lead position is a full-time, fully remote position.
